Bubbles Crochet Baby Blanket Pattern

Bubbles Crochet Baby Blanket Pattern

This is a really easy one row repeat crocheted baby blanket pattern.
The bumpy texture makes it extra thick and cushy. It is a common
stitch seen in many crochet stitch pattern books.

Details:
Beginning chain is worked in multiples of 3 + 2
Pattern stitch is: sc/2dc in same stitch

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn

H, I or J Crochet Hook (depending on yarn chosen)

Instructions:

Chain 62

Row 1: Sc and 2 dc together into the third chain from hook. Then * skip two chains, sc, 2dc all in next stitch* and repeat across. For last stitch, skip two chains and  then sc in the  last stitch, ch 2 and turn.

Row 2: 2 dc in sc from last row, then *sc, dc, dc* in each sc from previous row (sc, dc, dc in all sc's from row 1, across). Chain 2 and turn. Repeat Row 2 to desired size.

Border Finishing: sc around with sc, ch, sc in each corner.

End with one sc in top of your turning chain.

Snip off and weave in ends to complete.

SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
CH = Chain
